She had a heart murmur that was a 4 out of 4. She also had an enlarged left atrium and sub-aortic stenosis. The murmer was so bad, close to the end, that I could hear it when she was near me. I didn't even need a stethescope. *Chzzzzzzzzz DUB Chzzzzzzzzz DUB* (as opposed to a normal *lub dub lub dub*) Then about a month ago she nearly died due to pulmonary edema ans CFH. I knew we were close to the end at that point. She never really recovered from the fluid build-up. She lost about 1/3 of her body weight too. She had a cough that wouldn't go away. Sometimes she'd cough up foamy blood which I knew was from the pulmonary edema. She acted completely normal some days and others I was having to give her breathing treatments with albuterol and a nebulizer. I know she was hanging on for me because she didn't wanna leave me alone. She never acted like she was in any sort of pain. Her vet said it might have been possible for her to live for two years like that. She just gave up I think. I don't really blame her. I'm sure she was just TIRED

Thank you. She was loved, that is for sure. Its really weird without her. A while back (1yr 8months ago) my sister gave me a puppy because we all knew one day I wouldn't have my Duckie anymore. She's a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Bean (AKA Bindi Sue Bangles). She's doin her best to make me feel better :o) She's a really good lil dog. I've never had a Corgi or even really known one until I got her and they're REALLY SMART dogs. REALLY hard headed but smart lol. Thank you again for your condolences.
