There's a recycle center in Moscow, Idaho. Yes. And I did not visit until today, because I did not know . . .

They have a free book bin.

SQUEEEE.

Let me repeat that.

They have a free book bin.

. . . why is nobody squeeing besides me? *sigh* WELL! Rachel and I decided to check it out because Rachel organized our library (!!! <3) yesterday ( Read more... )

I just looked at a bunch of lolsquirrels pictures, so I can't help but imagining you two as squirrels who are mixed up somehow and think you are supposed to eat books instead of nuts.

Way to score them freebies, scavengers! You win at pie and squee.

You're lucky to have a free bin. There's a book bin at a used clothing store near me, but they're not free. However, I did get some volumes of the World Book encyclopedia to replace some long-lost ones. ^_^

Before my parents moved to Oconomowoc, the old house had this built into the wall bookshelf that was awesome. My favorite part was our collection of NEW WORLD (OLD WORLD) encyclopedias that i was constantly in. We also had ANNUALS from 1970-79

Now they are in the basement collecting dust, and i'm sad for it... even if i was the only one who used them. Even when i had internet, sometimes it was just as easy to look in teh books.

heh. Awww, poor old books getting dusty. My parents had an ancient set of Encyclopedias and I always poked them whenever I wanted to know something. I kind of miss them now - think they're boxed up somewhere.
