i learned in french yesterday that the french word, assassin, which we have a word exactly like in the english language (assassin--which means murderer) comes from the word "ashish" (which originated in Europe) meaning "dope" (aka weed, mariJUANA, etc.). in europe, if you were an "assassin", you were givin "ashish" (dope) before you went off to war

eh? i could be sadly mistaken, but i'm pretty sure most/all of europe has way more liberal drug laws than we do.
