Not sure why, but I felt that an Airplane quote would be the perfect way to kick off my comment.

I feel like I can relate to so many of the feelings that you described in your post. You're right...even with all of the stuff that we go through, we still have it pretty good considering how others in the world are living.

Here's to hoping that 2012 will provide the clarity you're looking for AND be pretty fucking awesome! :)
