[Now that the truth has finally come out about Badou and Haine's pranks, Nill is one angry little angel. How could they lie to her like that? Nill spent hours hiding Badou's cigarettes all over the house, and days making those clothes for Haine. They just let her do that to get back at the other

Miss Nill, I think you're being a bit unreasonable.

[You may note it sounds like he's moving as he speaks, because he is. He'll be checking Nill's room to see if she's really gone.]

I'm not going to keep helping them play pranks on each other!

[... Okay, that made him laugh before he starts the audio.]

Are you sure that's a good idea?

They dragged me into their pranks, they'll do it again if I don't go away for a while.

Don't you think they will be too worried over you to bother to work on what you want them to work on?

[Specially knowing how protective they are of you.]

[When she's climbing out of the window, someone will be watching her with interest on the next house over. Kurt has been trying to gather his thoughts about how he feels about friends - especially a defenseless one like Alexis - being forced to go to war. This was a sight he wasn't expecting to see. He creeps forward to the edge of the roof next door and dangles his legs off the edge.]

Is the front door broken?

[And here she thought she was being so covert and sneaky. The voice startles her, and she falls the rest of the way down when she loses her grip on the windowsill (...all of twelve inches or so). Though despite being started and falling the rest of the way, she does manage to land on her feet just fine. Maybe with a little stumble.]

[Clutching the bag of clothes, she looks around for whoever saw her climbing out of the window... finally realizing he's on the roof. How did he get all the way up there?]

[Nill looks down at the ground and shakes her head. The door isn't broken, but using the front door would mean Haine or Badou or Mihai would try to stop her.]

Whoa!

[He really needs to stop surprising people. Seeing her fall is a cause for concern and he ends up using the gutter drain to slide gracefully down to the ground. Fortunately it seems she's fine, seeing as she gets back up so quickly.]

Hey, sorry about that. Are you okay?

[Nill watches, her mouth open a little, as the boy slides down the drainpipe of all things like it's nothing. She'll hop around on pews in the church, but she doesn't think she could walk around on roofs and slide down gutters. For one thing, the bishop would be so upset if she ruined one of her dresses.]

[She nods to signal she's okay, but then keeps staring at him. Nill's been around demihumans a lot--and she's even one herself--but she's never seen anyone who looks like this person. The blue's different, at least. The ears and tail aren't new at all.]

[Finally, she realizes she's staring and she looks back down in apology.]

[To be fair, it does take Naoto a few seconds to send a message to Nill once she sees the note on her communicator, but that's only because she had to pause to consider whether to kill Heine and Badou first. Ultimately, Nill's safety takes precedence, but this is situation is far from over]

Nill? Where are you?

I'm going to go stay with a friend Miss Naoto. Please don't worry.

[Naoto's voice is calm, but there's a thinly veiled line of anger beneath it]

What's the name of your friend?

I won't interfere, Nill, I promise. I don't think you should go back yet either. I just want to know where you are, so I know that you're safe.

His name is Rokuta--he helped me find a place to live when I first got here. He's a little shorter than me, darker hair than mine but lighter than Badou's, and has purple eyes. He lives in House #31, right across the road from us.

Would you tell Mr. Mihai too? So he isn't worried either?

[Rokuta is in a rather less than stellar mood with all the draft stuff going on, but he hasn't forgotten about Nill. And when he hears that message, he can't help but worry -- something's wrong? And knowing her she could get into trouble if she's out wandering around by herself, especially in this weather.

Rikaku can move faster than he can, and knows the girl, so Rokuta sends the shirei off to go look for her. Accordingly, Nill, the next time you look around there'll be the top half of a wolf head peeking up out of the ground in your shadow. Hopefully he doesn't scare you.]

[Nill is still wandering the plaza, looking to see if she can catch sight of Rokuta. She's starting to feel a little disheartened though. At this rate, she'll probably have to go back home without Badou and Haine doing anything. The cold will start to set in once the sun goes down.]

[She sighs and turns around, getting ready to swallow her pride and go home, when she notices the ground has grown a furry spot. With eyes and ears.]

[If she could make any sounds, there would be a yelp here. But Nill only starts and jumps back, raising her fists to her mouth to protect herself (from what, the world may never know). After a moment, though, she realizes that she's seen those ears and eyes before. Maybe. Is it really Rikaku? She extends a hand warily, trying to reach down so she can pat the shirei's head.]

[Rikaku rises up a little higher, emerging from the ground as a swimmer might from water, and allows the pat with grave dignity.]

You are all right? The Taiho was concerned.

[The taiho? Oh! Maybe he meant Rokuta. Who else would send Rikaku after her, after all?]

[Nill nods as she pats him, though she still looks a little discouraged. She may be fine (maybe a little cold), but she's going to have to go home unless she figure out where Rokuta is.]

[She straightens up, looks around, and points to where she and Rokuta used to live. It's a bit of a stretch, but maybe he'll understand...?]
