[The video starts--and good luck to those with motion sickness, because it looks like Nill is running with the journal flapping open. There's green and trees, but almost no noise aside from her running. No breathing, just her feet

[Nill looks up at the other girl, surprised that anyone saw her. Then again, she was so upset that she didn't really see much of anything.]
[She looks back down at herself. There's a grass stain on her elbow, and her stocking has a run in the knee, but she's alright physically. The fall didn't hurt that much. Better to fall on grass than on concrete. There's a nod, and she tries to pull her skirt down over the run at her knee.]
[Her heart, though, is crushed. She thought that maybe Miss Naoto had just left for a few days to get away from Haine. But... she really was gone.]
[Nill takes the offered hand and gets up, a little shakily. There's the adrenaline and the sadness and the full-on sprinting that's made her legs wobbly. Though even though someone just helped her up, she can't even smile to say thank you. Nill just keeps looking at the ground sadly, distantly.]
[Mihai's been trying to figure out the best way to broach the whole subject of Muraki with Nill. She's pretty observant, and too much insisting to go with her on assorted errands will only tip her off. The problem is how nice Nill is in general; the last thing Mihai wants is for her to go running off to Muraki to try and prove them wrong.
He's still pretty clueless, but he also knows Nill will be headed to the grocery soon, given that there's a half-empty carton of orange juice and a bottle of fish food "filling" their fridge. And as it turns out, Nill's room is just as empty when Mihai opens the door to offer his services.
Damn.
The journal comes first, and Mihai opens it just in time to see Nill stumble and fall.]
Miss Nill! Where are--
[Except Nill turns off the recording, and Mihai's not sure if she's even heard him. Great. Well, not having a direction has never stopped him before. So his own journal in hand just in case, Mihai heads out the door. It looked like she was in the forest at any rate, so he'll head for the

['Where are--' is a good question. Nill doesn't even know where she is. One moment she was fine, sitting on her bed, checking her journal for any sign of Naoto... and then Nill tried to call her again and the contact wasn't there. Somehow, during the experiment, she had been taken or attacked or killed or taken home or something. And Nill was off baking cookies for a son who was three years older than she was

[Doors slamming and banging around, hurried footsteps, shouting, none of that seems out of the ordinary for their house, though having just heard from Draco about the last experiment is enough to make him a little paranoid. He sits up on the couch when he hears Mihai shouting for Nill, and narrows his eyes as he watches the old man run out the door. Just what the hell is going on?
He takes a moment to check that his guns are still at his waist. The old man can handle things for a few minutes, right? If he doesn't go completely the wrong direction. Haine makes an irritated growl of a noise and pounds on Badou's door.]
Move your ass!
[ooc: Gah, sorry! Did not mean to be so fail D: Should we split off a little so Haine can talk to Badou about... things first and then head after them?]
[Badou is blissfully unaware of the world while he tries to turn his room into the cigarette smoke equivalent of a sauna. He's seen Nill's entry of course, and he's heard Mihai shouting after her, but he figures she could use some space and on the off chance that something comes up Mihai will take care of it. Really, no reason for Haine to get his panties in a bunch too.
He's gotta admit, it'll be weird not having Naoto around now that he's gotten used to her.]
How about you kiss it first?
