Okay, so, it had been a day for Meg, part of which she spent with Sam in class, the other part in another class she didn't plan on discussing at all whatsoever. Nope. Her lips were sealed on that end.

Carriage House Room 3, Thursday early evening
Meg was having an off day. A really off day. As well as she thought yesterday went, it wasn't helping her now. She felt icky and achy and a little coughy. She really hoped she wasn't getting sick.

Dressed in her jammies for the night, Meg again stood back and surveyed the new bed and everything else she'd bought to re-decorate their room. Less pink, more neutral colors. Okay, so she was getting fat. A cute, well-rounded fat, but even Meg understood the necessity to exercise. So, standing mid-room, she grabbed her hula hoop and... laughed really hard at herself for trying to use it.

Slouched back on her bed, Meg was enjoying a morning cup of coffee, decaf this time around, and contemplating what she was going to do today. She'd like to go shopping for Veronica and Dick. Already having one gift for them, there was something else she still wanted to get. She also wanted to get Lilly something. It was a special day for her too.

Meg's day was a lazy one. She'd soaked in a tub, cleaned her room, painted her toenails, and sprawled around on her bed researching open adoption on her laptop.
She certainly wasn't expecting her cell phone to ring. Only a few choice people knew the number.

Meg's handwavey sonogram had gone very well. She had a specific due date, the baby seemed fine, healthy; the heartbeat was strong and fast. After her class, Meg came back to her dorm room and sat on her bed. It was so quiet now that Willow was gone, not that Willow was loud. But she missed her.
Pulling out her cell phone (newly acquired) she debated calling Lizzie again. She had to know what her father was doing; what her parents were planning.
Thus, she placed the call.

With her parents at the hospital, Lizzie took the offered time to call Meg's boyfriend, Sam. He deserved to know what had happened to her.
Locking herself in her room, she punched in his number, the one she had found stored in Meg's phone before her parents took it.
