The whole room sort of froze. Clay had only seen it happen to the Losers a few times before, mostly when they got ambushed or Jensen said something so completely technical that none of them understood and their brains just locked. This moment is infinitely more hilarious and yet some how just as terrifying.

Aisha is gapping at Stephanie, who is staring right back. Both of them have identical expressions of “oh shit” and Clay is torn between laughing and pulling Aisha aside so she won’t scare the hell out of Jensen’s niece with a death glare. He doesn’t have to do either because Cougar breaks the tension with a chuckle.

“Tia Aisha,” he says with laughter in his voice
