...even though I can't tell for sure since this sicilian internet cafe computer is from 1997 and doesn't like to obey me. On Tuesday I will be cooking pasta alla pescespada in your kitchen for you and others, if that's okay. It follows, naturally, that on Tuesday I myself will be in your kitchen. I miss you. Should I bring you a present? Probably. If I find a good one it's yours. Have you acquainted yourself with Povia? If you don't love the song just consider that all the profits go to SAVING BABIES, for serious. Last night I passed a man selling live baby chickens on the street. A lady bought one for her daughter, and the chicken-seller put it in a Ziploc bag, sealed the Ziploc bag, and handed it over. Think about THAT. I miss you! I'll see you in a week, I hope you're pumped.

Love,
Your Girl Abroad

Baby chicks are really cute, but still kinda annoying. From my boyhood on a farm i remember watching them fascinated because if they came near anything taller than themselves they would open their mouths waiting for food or something to drop in. Needless to say people started finding a lot of Legos in their chicken casserole a couple years later.
