I saw this coming a long time ago, during the first season, that they would populate "Earth"
It was really unsatisfying to have three major characters declared "Angels" or something like it, especially without information about what that meant. I suppose it is saved for a future time.
I disagree with much of what imnotandrei wrote about religion. Not because I believed in the religious aspects, I just don't feel they detracted from my experience at all.
On the other hand, I had kinda hoped that all the wierd visions and everything would be dismissed as coincidence.
I loved the original BSG, as a kid, but I am so glad that this one was not like that. I am so glad that this one was gritty, hard core, and not-Star Wars like, which is what the original was trying for. In other words, it was for adults, not kids.
What was with the appearance of old-style centurians?
