So, the large pricey bag of Premium Duck & Green Pea cat food just got put out on the stoop. Vet thought it might help kitty's digestive issues but I couldn't take Day Three of the hunger strike. Back to Eukanuba. Kitty promptly chowed down.

Don't see how I can really blame her. Why would you put green peas in a cat food anyway?

Yea I got my cat started on raw food to correct his chronic diarrhea that we adopted him with. He loved it so much that when I gave him canned salmon cat food from whole foods he barely touched it. Pissy little thing. A combination of proboitics added to the food and off and on again with raw food and before grains food from petco seemed to straighten his lower intestines out. Good luck with picky kitty :)

Thank you. :) I've been thinking about trying a raw diet with fuzzy. But at sixteen, she's pretty set in her ways.

IDK, I had a cat that went absolutely mad for canned peas. Whenever we opened a can for a meal, he'd beg and beg until he got a little bowl of it. It was like a ritual, whenever a can of peas was opened, he got his tribute. When he was begging off the actual finished dish, he'd snub meat in favor of sweet, sweet peeeaaaas.

He was a bit weird, though.

Choosing peas over meat says a lot!

My aunt had a cat whose thing was blueberry muffins. She would get store bought muffins and if she left them out of the counter the cat would chew through the plastic to get at them. He'd go nuts if you were toasting one. We used to have to lock him in the laundry room, where he would continue meowing and throwing his bulk against the door. Same cat showed no interest in corn or bran muffins.
