Check out Searching For the Gay Jesus. I thought it had some provocative, beautifully written thoughts about Jesus, Christianity, and homosexuality. Even the comments section has some good discussion. Some highlights:

I totally agree with this statement here. Not sure if you've ever heard anything about Jay Bakker's (Tammy Faye's son) Revolution church. It's non-traditional and he openly supports homosexuality. I watched his documentary series One Punk Under God about a year or so ago and IIRC, he mentioned that there was no mention of homosexuality in the bible until 1942. Makes you wonder. That said, I really like the idea of his church and wish there were more out there like it.
