Comic Con!!!
So I've had a super-enjoyable summer so far. A trip home and to Miami, R&R, sleeping in, and some workshops. Fun! Really looking forward to Comic Con and San Diego, of course. Here's is my tentative schedule.
Brace yourself, because I'm super-organized and planned out and shit. Taking a cue from aninnocent, I even called upon the dark power that is Excel. I have a list of primary panels I want to see, along with backups just in case something is full or I don't feel like dealing with another LINE OF PEOPLE on my goddamn vacation. But shit, I'll probably forget to email myself or print out the spreadsheet and I'll be lost as hell anyway.

This is going to be a long day for me, if I end up staying through for the Dr. Horrible Sing-Along at 8.

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs (I don't really care about the movie, but its voice actors include Andy Samberg, Sam Hader, and Anna Ferris, so I figure the panel will be ha-ha-hillarious.)
Avatar (Not counting on being able to get into this one, but I'll try, damnit. ETA: At second glance, the panel right before this one in Hall H is New Moon, so I'm REALLY not holding my breath.)

Warner Brothers Movies (This includes the Nightmare on Elm St. remake, plus Jonah Hex, which is pretty cool on its own. But, I have a sneaking suspicion that there's going to be a surprise appearance by one Mr. Ryan Reynolds, since they just announced his casting in the new Green Lantern flick.)

The more I think about it, the more staying in Ballroom 20 makes sense. The panels will be a little smaller and more intimate, and therefore more amenable to fun with sippy cups. But wouldn't it be a hoot to ask Gwyneth if she works on her Goop site in between takes???
On Saturday night I am gonna mosey on down to the gayborhood for fun and merriment. With that in mind, I plan on sleeping in on Sunday, and if I go to the con at all, I might just go to check out the floor. This year, I'd like to check out the zoo and/or the beach.
