most of what i want to say has already said here by myself and a few others. i've now officially switched in my support of voting my principles to voting for the most electable lesser of two evils. i think 2004 cemented that. i'm sad because even though i've made this sacrifice for the greater good, the greater good does not come about. perhaps

I'm pretty sure continuing this election for the next seven weeks will just allow time for more mud slinging and opportunities to propagate misinformation, all the while McCain and the republicans are strengthening their base of supporters. The bottom line is that at this point Clinton can't reasonably catch up in delegates, and if the DNC pulls some kind of shenanigans to get her elected its going to look really ugly and leave a lot of people (myself included) disillusioned with politics as a whole.

It's not McCain as a person who I think will get voters on his side while the Dems squabble it out, its the entire GOP machine. They may no loner have Karl Rove, but I'd bet they have someone on their staff only too happy to swiftboat both Clinton and Obama.

I worked as a provisional judge yesterday. Most of the people I handled had moved recently and brought documentation to show that they lived in the precinct I was working
