Am I the only person concerned about the government bailout of AIG?  ...and their now 80% stake in owning it?

Judging from the response of callers to talk radio programs, your concerns are nearly universal, outside of Washington DC. Why does it surprise people when they discover that the main purpose of government is for the powerful to extract wealth from everyone else?

I think there are ALOT of greedy people in government, but thats any government anywhere in the world. I however do not think that the main purpouse of government is to take from the bottom say 60 percent and give to the top 2 percent. government does help up.
