Subliminal Obama?

I noticed that when I watch Obama give speeches or conduct press conferences, that I find myself liking the guy.  When I read the same things in print, however, I hate his guts with a passion unlike anything I've felt before (well, not since the Emperor in Star Wars when I was a kid).  I wonder if there is some sort of subliminal technique or ( Read more... )

I dunno. We watched the latest episode of BSG last night and when I shut the computer down and switched the HDTV back to network TV from being a computer monitor there he was giving some sort of pep talk.

The little worm reminds me way too much of Felix Gaeta -so much so that I expected him to nervously reach down and scratch at his stump during his speech. I watched him for about 30 seconds and became so disgusted by his mannerisms and the content of the speech that jumped up to shut him off even before I could find the remote to the stereo receiver so I could shut that down first as is my usual technique.

I had a momentary vision of him sitting in a chair next to Tom Zarek.

Let's all admit it..

he's an AMAZING speaker.

I don't hate his guts when I read his words, but I feel uncomfortable and I feel the need to argue. But when I hear him speak, gods, its like angels...

*wink wink*

I think Obama missed his calling. Instead of being President he should have been a CIA operative. Think of how much intelligence he could coax by sheer force of personality.

I really like Obama too, even if I don't agree with many of his principles...there really is something about him. The more I think about it now, maybe there is something to be said about voting for a leader who you like and want to cooperate with, even if you don't agree with all his ideas.
