Why don't you just stick with one character and play it up to 70? Then if you want, you can buy a load of twink gear and quickly level up some other chars.

first time player style. it will fade once he has a taste of exactly what hes going for (it still looks to be the lock) but the need to get a taste for and feel for the classes/races and put characters where all your friends are poking you to play.
