my year in pictures

Bring Me The Horizon. January. First gig of the year.

Neon Trees and Angels & Airwaves. February. London.

Bayside. London

A Day To Remember. London

This one time I flew to London for less than 12hrs to see Panic! At The Disco play a preview of Vices & Virtues in the smallest club. Still February.

London again, in the noisiest hostel ("JAY, OPEN THE DOOR! OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR!")

Beginning of the My Chemical Romance World Contamination Tour. London.

NA NA NA. Birmingham.

Fantastic Moshpit. Third Row.

Glasgow. Rarely pretty.

The barrier. The one that broke.

Front row for MCR. A fucking arena behind us. Goosebumps and tears. Being shown on the screen next to the stage.

It was cold.

Manchester. Sitting in the queue for 12hrs. Getting an email that my photo pass for the show has been approved, an hour before doors.

No words, never.

Flying home to a warm flat full with friends. All Time Low.

Cologne. Patrick Penguin. Jack singing Tom Jones to me.

Delicious birthday cake from Corien. Amsterdam.

MCR in Tilburg. Bestest Birthday.

London. My friends ♥ Start of the "Which gigs are we going to do?" "All of them." tour.

Nottingham. Vodka with Apple-Raspberry juice. Bathroom Danceparty. Are you here for Boyzone?

Met Ryan Key. Was terrified.

Yes, it was the All Time Low tour.

But also Yellowcard. Yellowcard ♥ This was Birmingham, already.

Trainrides and sandwiches. "Press for heat" buttons.

Newport.

Possibly still Newport. Gig in a sport centre.

Liverpool. Slowly getting sick.

Young Guns. Who went from "Oh, I don't mind YG opening for Yellowcard, they're quite alright" to "Holy Shit, the Young Guns! They're so amazing! Can't wait to see the Young Guns again!" during this tour.

Beautiful Leeds. Young Guns running into us at the local Starbucks, asking us if we still have money / need to prostitute ourselves to be able to afford this.

Photo Pit.

New Starbucks cups. Confusing. Possibly Newcastle.

I guess, Newcastle?

The way up to Glasgow was the prettiest thing about going up there. Again.

Young Guns.

Our view in Glasgow. Passing out - not allowed!

Manchester. There's me in that picture. Manchester, also, where we got lost in a shopping center and accidently ended up at a Yellowcard signing. They're worried about our health. We're coughing up lungs.

All Time Low.

Back in London.

World's smallest room.

View from the back. Aftershow party. Vodka-Orange for cheap money. Nom.

Sightseeing.

Last show.

Flying to Hamburg instead of home. My Chemical Romance. Fantastic. Can't breath, hear or talk. Had the best time.

Veara in April. Vienna, for a change.

Millencollin, same show.

Boyce Avenue. Haha.

Patrick Stump. Paris. "If you fight about something, fight about sauce." Bestest.

All of the hearts ♥

Paris. Still May.

Cologne. Panic! At The Disco.

Hamburg. Someone asked if I flew to Hamburg from Vienna and I couldn't remember how I got there. Tour.

Eek, what happened to the girl that never wanted to take pictures with bands?

Give It A Name Festival. Vienna.

I got ID'ed when I wanted to buy booze. I don't remember taking this picture.

Zurich. Where Anna and I saw Funeral For A Friend, The Blackout & We Are The Ocean. And didn't run into the band and/or Jay. Snoz told me to "man up".

D.R.U.G.S. in Berlin. Hello.

Hurricane Festival. Friends. Already June.

You Me At Six.

And then there was this day where we spend 13 hours in the front row. At a festival. I used to laugh about people like that.

We saw All Time Low. And they saw us.

And My Chemical Romance (of course, which other band would make me stand in the front row for 13 hours, waiting?) and they played Famous Last Words for the first time after I got my tattoo done and it was great.

Incubus.

A lot of rain. And the Foo Fighters, later that day.

Filter. Hey Man, Nice Shot.

Killjoy Guests.

My Chemical Romance in Vienna. Home. They liked it.

London. Gay Pride.

Foo Fighters. Milton Keynes. John Paul Jones coming on stage.

A view from the top. Where we weren't. Duh.

Cancer Bats.

Bright Eyes.

Anberlin.

London again. For the craziest trip so far.

iTunes Festival. We didn't have tickets and still got in. Bestest. Bestest forever.

Memories. Closed-fist-greeting :D

Dream Theater. Laughing forever. Not my choice.

Vilnius with friends. No gig.

Trakai. Beautiful.

New tattoo.

Pacer. Opening for The Bouncing Souls.

The Bouncing Souls - For All The Unheard, 8 albums in 4 nights tour. Most fantastic.

Stockholm. City trip.

London. Seeing Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead. Favorite play.

Roadtrip again.

Possibly Stuttgart? Panic! At The Disco.

Proper Holiday. Washington.

Washington.

Chicago.

Chicago.

New York. Where we spend a day at Central Park.

And I saw The Academy Is... play their last gig.

And Cobra Starship.

We went to a Football game.

Every Avenue & some other bands in London. September.

I didn't do anything in October but got a job in London.

November. The Blackout headlining tour. Birmingham.

London. Gee's mailbox.

Friends.

A Day To Remember, Vienna.

The Blackout, Vienna.

Frank Turner, Birmingham. Longest trainride in the world.

And in London.

December. Meep. Saves The Day in Zurich. First time seeing them.

Yellowcard. Also Zurich. Not the first time.

Banners that lead to a lot of happy things.

Munich.

Chris Conley

Who makes me happy.

Schweinfurt. Of all places. Cupcakes for bands.

Hamburg.

Christmas markets.

Missing our bands too much. Going to Madrid. I don't know if the iTunesFestival or this was crazier. We didn't have tickets either, we had Arun.

Dressed according to the line-up. We're that lame. I'm pretty happy with how I changed from the picture with Ryan Key to this.

"I was so surprised to see you. You made me smile!"

Sean-i.

Fertig! Los. December 30th, definitely the last gig of the year.

Christmas with friends.

And New Year's eve, too.

Thank you, 2011, you have been wonderful ♥
