I've decided to do something fairly drastic in an effort to curb my migraines. While at school I saw a flier for a clinical trial for migraine headaches. I called the company and found out that they are testing a new medication for migraine prevention. I haven't talked to you about this, so I don't know if you've tried it.

Try an elimination diet. It sucks, for a while, but apparently (along with causing drastic mood swings) reactions to things like caffeine, refined sugar (and high fructose corn syrup) and some glutens can cause flares.

I pretty much have a constant headache, but the flares have been further and farther in between by trying out that jenk.

And I hope the pills help. Nothing is worse than not ever feeling well.

hmmm.... I've never tried that. I did cut caffeine out of my diet once and it was an ugly thing and I didn't have the willpower to stick it out. But thanks for the info, I'm probably going to try it especially if it helps with mood swings. There are days that I think my husband is going to strangle me over them. But anyway, thank you!
