So I show up for my first day at Outback to train bussing tables under none other that Boyd Atchison, who has told me to buy the darkest jeans I can find that aren't black. So I come in in these really dark, dark blue jeans with that queer-looking yellow thread, and Boyd leads me in through the side door and introduces me to the British-speaking

Yeah, Joanna told me that I needed to check with her before I left tonight because she's in charge of the scheduling, and Matt told me later that she's really just a hostess and tries to manage things like that. Also, she brings customers to their tables way too early and makes me hurry.

And I was hanging up glasses with Jacob, and he grabbed like four all in the same hand and was like, "I bet you're wondering how I can hold so many in one hand." He was being serious too. He kept trying to do all these cool things to show me that he knew "the ropes."

at Chick-Fil-A, they give you uniforms, so I can't relate there. Michael did have to borrow my work pants once though. I left them in Chick-fil-a for him underneath one of the counters. I think the Mexicans were the only ones who knew where I'd left them, so I guess they gave them to him, cause he had pants that night (I think)...
