*laughs* Oh god, the opening of Ghost Ship does sound like a feast for the eyes!! Especially since I've read (of course I hurried to IMDB to read up on the movie) that the opening credits are all pink and LoveBoat-ish. Too bad the rest of the movie appears to be cliché, because I'm greatly enticed by the slice-and-dice scene (it all depends on the level of gory. I could stomach the beginning of Saving Private Ryan, after all, and if it's funny...), and, of course, there's Emily Browning. I didn't even know she'd played in anything before ASOUE, and I'd love to see her as a ghost (but is she killed or does she commit suicide? I've read both in the reviews...It'd be awesome if she'd killed herself). *sighs* Hey, maybe when you come over, you can watch it with me!

I don't quite get this line, though: "The whole issue of being desensitzed to violence has never made real sense to me.". What do you mean? That violence never ceases to make an effect on you (even if you also think it's fun), that it's never had an effect on you to begin with ( ... )
