I’m ready to graduate. There's no better way to put it. I've had so much fun these past four years, meeting new people, challenging myself in academics, music, and theater. Most of all I feel like I've become a much more confident, intelligent, and better person. I've impressed myself to be honest. Just comparing myself to how I was in Middle ( Read more... )

my advice for jobs/money is that you take what ever is given to you! i spent all of last summer searching for a job and no one would hire me because they either had poisitons already filled or they were looking for people to continue in the fall so if you are able to get a job that only requires you to stay through the summer more power to you!. i understand your frustrations with money and especially college tuition. i've really grown to hate money and the whole concept of money in general. it just ends up being such a bitch! but i love you and i miss you immensely!

Those are valid concerns. You may find that it isn't wise to spend that much on your undergraduate experience if u plan to go to grad school afterwards. But give it a try next year. Afterwards, if you dont think its worth the money, you can always make a change.

i've actually found recently that finding a job isn't too hard - just look in the right places. start with what you like to do and where might hire you for only the summer (or where they will believe you if you lie and say you'll work past the summer). then just look everywhere that fits those requirements and keep in mind that you shouldn't limit yourself to one field like ONLY retail or ONLY restaurants. there's a lot out there in bethesda, you just gotta be available to it. and yes graduation and college will be glorious. and college loans happen to everyone and every person i know who is paying all of their $200,000 tuition by themselves here at nyu is happy anyway, so i'm assuming it is much the same at vassar. good luck buddy! and lets hang out over the summer yes.
