Progress - The boy & I decided to do three things: revisit the low carb thing, plan our meals & eat what is in the freezers and pantry, partly so we can defrost & partly so we can actually figure out what's there. So this is one week into the plan. I've lost 5 lbs, the meals are on the calendar for this week (helps that I'm gone for part of it) and the freezer is clearing out faster than we expected - more meat needed already. But still very much a win.
Me: Very happy my headache is finally gone. Just happy in general. I think I may be fully recovered by the weekend.
Recent Adventures: Quiet weekend at home. Beer was kegged, red wine racked, white wine started (for the cunning plan!) The major highlight was digging the trailer out of the snow (love my jeep!! & the boy with the shovel too) so we could make a run to the dump. I know. The excitement. Still it was wonderful to be outside again. Almost like it's time to start planning the gardens!
The Farm Yard: Day 3 of chinook 3.2C. The trees are sucking up the melting snow. I found a path to the compost between the really tall snow drifts. The birds are back and we have signs of sleeping deer. So cute!
The Farm House: A bit cleaner.
The Farm Animals: Muse has not peed inappropriately for weeks. Sabastien continues with his water obsession. And Guinness still does not like dancing.
Reading, Watching, Listening: All thing related to England, Wales and Ireland.
SCA: It was all very quiet over the airwaves with a lot of y'all off to K12thN. Aren't any of you on Twitter?? sheesh.Still, I'm pleased to hear things went well. Turns out I will be at MG12th. At least for a little while.
Work: Travel. Friday in Calgary. Lots to do.
Thinking On: Budgets, Gardening, Cunning plans.
