Breaking radio silence

I've been studying hard for my Digital Marketing course lately, so not much time for drawing. However, I DO have a new toy - a Tesco Hudl 2 tablet with Android. It's nothing fancy, but I've never had a smartphone/tablet before and it's a good starter tablet (it cost £130 so it didn't break the bank). cool! I keep looking at the tablets that you draw onto the screen - is this one of those kind? Love your Forth Bridge!

Oh wow! Thanks for commenting so quick. I realised how enormous they were and made them smaller now.

Hope your dad pulls through! Good luck!

Yes, you can get two types of 'tablet' and I have both. I have a Wacom Bamboo tablet for drawing into things like Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator. That's purely an input device, not a mini-computer in its own right. And now I have a tablet in the more normal sense and you can draw on the screen on that too. It kept me entertained for hours on the train to my parents' house, secretly sketching all the passengers.

I'm going to be totally geeking out about this so you will no doubt hear lots more about it :)

I've got an old Bamboo tablet, and hubby's got an iPad mini but I haven't tried to use that for anything arty - maybe I should!

Enjoy your new purchase! Years ago I angsted over whether I should buy a netbook or a tablet. I went with the netbook in the end because I already had an iPhone and I wanted something that would be easier to write on. Unfortunately the netbook was the worst thing I've ever bought so I ended up getting an iPad later. Then a mini iPad. *shrugs* I'm a sucker for the shiny...
