I recently found a book about martial arts comics in a second-hand store. Naturally, I had to turn one of the pics into yet another half-naked Sam, so here you go. Just a bit of practice really, but feedback welcome :D

A friend gave me some good quality black paper, so I thought I'd try working from dark to light with conte pastels. I decided to draw the lovely Tom Mison as Ichabod Crane from Sleepy Hollow. He has such a gorgeous nose! Unsurprisingly, working on black paper made him look more sinister than normal, but I hope you like it.

I like this one: kscope from Arts University Bournemouth. It makes a kaleidoscope, in photo or video form, of what you can see. It's fun, it's free and you can get it for the iPhone or Android. Maybe other platforms too.

I've been studying hard for my Digital Marketing course lately, so not much time for drawing. However, I DO have a new toy - a Tesco Hudl 2 tablet with Android. It's nothing fancy, but I've never had a smartphone/tablet before and it's a good starter tablet (it cost £130 so it didn't break the bank).
