A drought in Lynchburg, Tenn., is putting the production of legendary Jack Daniel's whiskey at risk. The spring used to craft Jack Daniel's may dry up, and although the Tennessee whiskey maker is conserving the water, distillers are wondering what may happen if the spring goes dry ( Read more... )

When we were in Italy we were sitting at the bar in the hotel. Obviously we were Americans, but the guy at the bar asked us where in the states we were from. We told him Tennessee and he said "Ahhhhh, Jack Daniels!" and pointed to the bottle.
