Ugh, grocery shopping!

After all these years I am still mostly unhappy when it is time to do grocery shopping. I managed to get through it this morning with a few successes (I actually remember to buy stamps *before* leaving the store), and a couple of losses (I somehow forgot to get bread, even though it was ON MY LIST. grrr

i enjoy grocery shopping. it's one of my favorite chores...

i'm very close to the store though... only about two blocks... so when i forget things it's easy to make another trip a little later.

i just wish a slightly cheaper store was closer to me.

if i go around 6:30 am alone, i can get in and out of there in under an hour. one of the main reasons i hate going is the tons of people who all flood the store at the same time, and the lack of self checkout kiosks during peak hours.
