If you don't have a condition contraindicatory to it you should be taking some sort of cold & flu medication with pseudoephedrine in it. It will break down the mucus and help clear you up a bit. Having too much mucus is what leads to other conditions like bronchitis and pneumonia. Also try inhaling eucalyptus oil, but be careful straight eucalyptus oil will burn if it gets on your nose, try putting some on a cloth or in some steam.

I have been taking prescription, non-prescription tablets and cough/sinus fluids. None have done a really good job, so I am just taking Rulide. Haw. That and sucking eucalyptus lozenges. (OH CRAP! I forgot to take my vitamins! Thanks for reminding me...)
