Writing Day 11

I took the day off yesterday, I needed it. Today, though, I jumped back in the saddle. I'm sitting at 34,416 words... just shy of 35k, but I finished the chapter and didn't want to start the next one yet and half-ass it. I'm having a lot of trouble focusing today

Good luck with that interview, I know you are going to do fine. Don't worry about being a little stressed, honestly they expect that and in a strange way it makes them think you are really excited about that job.

I wasn't so stressed about this, just shocked. Everything else is stressing me out, like leaving next week, ugh.

The interview went horribly, in my opinion. I've been trained like a soldier for interviews and I bombed that one. I'm just... too damn tired. I can't sleep at night anymore, at all. Anyway, we all had a laugh and I was interviewing for three different positions. The one, I am way overqualified for, but the other two? They are fighting over me. I hope I get put in processing.

They fingerprinted me before I left and started my background check, which is awesome. It took Chris a few months to go through the selection process for his. I think my PC skillz are what convinced them, LOL.

Well, it does sound like things went better than you were thinking they did if they are already starting on background check stuff.

It sounds like it is a good opportunity Mao. I bet you did really well in spite of how you feel and if they are fighting over you let's hope they come up with a good financial offer!

It will be interesting, to say the least. It's a grant position, so the pay won't be great, but money is money.

Unfortunately, I didn't do any NaNoWriMo today, lol. I fell asleep when I got home and then played World Adventures. xb
