At the end of September, I dropped my ipod beneath the metro. Not on purpose,. Someone jostled me as I was stepping over the threshold. But when the metro pulled away, my ipod appeared unscathed, shiny and perfect, lying on the subway tracks ( Read more... )

gretch- i love you too. i was just so exhilarated when it arrived, i had to write about it. we can't all have glam-skivvy pics to post in our exciting journal.

kaya- i'm not. i won't again. well, maybe. but i don't intend to make a habit out of it...thanks for the reminder.

amanda- but imagine if it had been your beautiful typewriter (though i don't think it would fit between the gap). you would have hopped as well. besides, now i can make you listen to 'float on' constantly.

i'm proud to say i know someone brave enough to hop onto the metro tracks, risking death from the deep dark subway, just to save her beautiful mac technology.
