I do not remember this place.

It is the castle but my memories jumble together and I cannot spare the time to set them to rights.

My shielding is in fragments and all I can do is keep the power within from spilling over.

A guard approaches...apparently I am wanted.

The Shrine is peaceful and I am grateful for the respite. I can hear/feel the spirits all around but they are such simple elemental beings compared to the tensions and worries of the folk at the party. I can feel the dim flickers of emotion as they circle me curiously ( Read more... )

...what happened?

The horse slows to a halt in the courtyard. I stop and stare. No wonder the castle was upset! What happened to the kitchen?

There is smoke trailing half-heartedly out of a window, guards are bustling about, carrying furniture and crockery.

Bewildered, I dismount and leave the horse to the guards.

I want some answers.
