Conrad's turn to get abused by the Maou! But no rape.

Yuuri was sitting in the library, flipping through a /really/ boring book about something really boring that was not taking over the world or peening people. He looked suitably bored, and he let out an exasperated sigh, throwing the book against the wall, where it slid into a pile of similarly boring books.

He was going to get up soon. Really.

Conrad hovered outside the library, contemplating going in. He was actually scared to face Yuuri right now--he had put his little brother in the infirmary, and apparently raped the Sage. But Yozak had asked for a book to keep Greta company...

He sighed and opened the library door.

Yuuri looked up with an amused smile. "Oh, someone finally shows up. But by the look on your face, Connie, I don't think you're here to help me take over the world. Are you?"

He ignored him, going over to the bookshelf and picking out some books. Just don't answer him, get a book and get out...

Yuuri grabbed a book and threw it at Conrad's head.

He ducked, letting it hit the shelf. Honestly, this would have been really funny if Yuuri wasn't all evil.

Yuuri was very evil. And cool. He had his legs up on the table, hands behind his neck. "How's my daughter? Is she enjoying her new daddy?"

Conrad growled, grabbing some books. He looked at the shelf, wondering if there was one here that could make Yuuri himself again...

The books were all titled things like "Volume 1: Tax annals in the third year of Queen Celi's reign". Not very good for turning back evil, but good for looking for corruption in the tax regime.

Yuuri threw another book at Conrad.

Conrad let it hit his shoulder. He kicked it aside with his foot.

"I thought you were a hardcore swordsman." Yuuri drawled. "Instead, it seems that Conrad versus the library is resulting in a stunning victory for all of the books. At least that means they're good for something."

He couldn't help but smirk, but he didn't say anything, turning to walk back towards the door.

Yuuri threw another book at him. "What about my war?" He sounded petulant.

Conrad caught the book and threw it back at him. "Choke on it."

Yuuri frowned. "That's treason."

"You're not the king," he retorted.

"Since when?"

He turned to look at him. "Since you turned into this... this thing."

"I thought a king was king until he died. Oh, must look into that." Yuuri drawled. "Just because you can't manipulate me like a dumb puppet doesn't mean I'm not king."

Conrad glared at him. "We have never manipulated you, Yuuri. You forget I know your soul is a kind one."

"Aw, you really believe that, Connie?" Yuuri simpered. "I'm so touched by your belief in me." He smirked. "And if you don't help me fight, I'll be sure to find a suitable punishment. You have a son, yes?"

"You touch my son, I'll kill you, king or no."

"A powerless half-breed like yourself? And don't forget that if you kill me, you kill the 'kind soul' I apparently have."

"The Yuuri I know would rather die than start a war."

"Oh how touching. Get out of here. I don't need a weak man to serve me."

He turned and yanked the door open, storming down the hall.

Yuuri got up and went to go get a horse. Time to go see someone with balls.
