RealSimple and Blueprint are my crack (and dammit, a preview of Domino was sent to my house yesterday. It's so cute!) -- I finally broke down and bought a yearly sub. for RS and what a treat it is to have it appear in my mailbox every month. Blueprint is actually a division of Martha Stewart, but it's so fresh and the information provided is really just useful. The magazines are definitely worth it. RealSimple is good, but I can't relate to everything. Domino I liked for a while, but everything inside is just so unattainable...for me at least. I'm never spending 4k on a dresser. Ever. :P
Try ShopSmart! It's by Consumer Reports and it ROCKS! They preview all types of things and every day folks buy and use. And because they are a division of Consumer Reports they are unbiased completely.

Martha Stewart is my (not-so) secret shiny. Her design team makes everything look so fabulous, and can I say how much I love Everday Food? That's another crack rock that gets me jonesing.
I had to laugh about your Domino comment, I totally agree with it - I am such a sucker for pretty vingettes though, ever the window shopper.
And ho ho! ShopSmart eh? I'll have to take a gander at that thanks for the suggestion, my little enabler you. :D
