So my mom had another appointment today. The doctor basically told her that the arthritis in her hip is so terrible that she has two options: try this injection, which will likely become a once-a-month routine and is in no way a permanent solution, or get hip replacement surgery

I've got the same thing going with my dad's gum recession (he's had to have gum grafts twice) and my mom's high blood pressure medication (her mother died rather young from a heart attack).
