Tonsillitis? Which means tonsillectomy...

I wish we had universal health care too. As of June 1st, I am uninsured as well. :(

My mom tells me they hardly ever do tonsillectomies, so if it is tonsillitis, you will have to pay for a doctor's visit and some antibiotics, which are usually pretty cheap. Good luck!

Actually it turned out to be strep throat, so it's just antibiotics anyway.

Ew blech. I had strep throat at least once a year between the ages of 3 and 10. It got to the point that I could recognize the symptoms and self-diagnose before the cultures even came back. Heck, I even learned to like the taste of chewable penicillin. And then suddenly I stopped having them, so maybe I'm immune now?

Anyway, feel better soon. I know how much that disease can stink.
