Minseok breaks Luhan's heart every day.
a/n: Written for AllRiseDubu's birthday. Thanks to certainangles for the prompt that sparked this (but I want to do something longer with that prompt in the future, haha). This is also known as an exercise in brevity lol.
Minseok breaks Luhan's heart every day.
The first shard belongs to Minseok's smile, soft-edged and sweet in the morning, when he wakes up in Luhan's arms. The second shard is for Minseok's laugh, voice low and hoarse with sleep, as Luhan whispers endearments in his ear.
Most of Luhan's heart gives way throughout the day, tiny shards falling one after the other, for every fleeting touch, every butterfly kiss Minseok leaves on his waiting lips.
And in the evening, after the rest of Luhan's heart crumbles with hips pressing against hips, Minseok rebuilds his heart all over again as he writes I love you on Luhan's skin.
