Meeting with his friends in front of their high school, he tried to speed up when he glanced at his watch; this wasn’t good. As expected, they were already here: Jaejoong and his smoking habit, Yunho with sunglasses -thinking that no one could see him glimpsing from time to time at Lina- and Lina who was chatting with Yoona. He decided to ignore his best friend, Jaejoong, who was scolding him for being late ‘seriously Changmin? Everytime! You’re driving me nuts’, and joined his girlfriend who was sitting on the stairs, smiling at him. He leaned down to kiss her. Yoona.‘I missed you’, he whispered against her lips.
Yoona eventually went back to her discussion with her friend though her attention seemed to be distracted by a sneaky hand catching hers, entwining their fingers together. Somehow the other teenager girl left the couple with a smirk, clearly not wanting to be the third wheel that day. Changmin planted a kiss on her hair before brushing his lips on her cheek. Yoona was in pure bliss and even those simple actions managed to make her blush.
“What’s up, Changmin-ah?” she barely murmured, turning her head to her right, her hand stroking his cheek.
Changmin offered her a slight smile as an answer while letting his mouth wander on the spot just under her ear.
“Just missed you…”
Soothed by his voice, she closed her eyes as they both seemed to forget that they were not alone. Indeed, the three other stopped everything to look at them-smirking in Yunho and Lina’s case, and sighing for Jaejoong. ‘This is too much,’ he thought to himself before rolling his eyes. Seeing the rate of which his best friend was showering his beloved girl with kisses, Jaejoong had to butt in.
“Get a room,” he finally groaned.
“I-I’m sorry Jae,” Yoona pushed lightly Changmin away, flustered. “I didn’t mean to-”
“I’m not talking about you, Yoong,” Jaejoong cut her. “I was referring to him,” he added, pointing at his friend.
“You’re just jealous that you haven’t gotten any of Sica yet.”
Changmin’s remark provoked laughter from Lina and Yunho while his girlfriend was giving him a nudge, frowning at him. It was a sensible topic; despite his usual self-confidence, Jaejoong still hadn’t asked his crush -Jessica- out. He just gritted on his teeth, his face turning red all of a sudden. He stubbed out his cigarette on the floor before standing up.
“Well, you know what? Screw you, Changmin,” he managed to mumble, feeling as though he would die out of embarrassment.
