Maybe I'm paranoid, but I think one of my fics has become fodder for other writers. My B/A fic Revenge Verson 1.0 had a plot that included a sell your soul clause in the user agreement, and Willow was trapped inside a video game and had to be rescued by Buffy and others entering the game and playing by its rules ( Read more... )

Hells ya! Sue those suckers and get some money! My friends and I swear that the writers of Torchwood: Miracle Day have totally been cruising the memes over here to pick up scenes and ideas. All the gay sex gave it away ;)

I've had parts of my plots show up on Angel, while I was still writing the fic. I thought my beta was working for Joss! lol

Hmm... I dunno. But, the fic was still being edited by my beta, it wasn't posted yet. Which really freaked me out. There were specific plot details that made me think my beta was a double agent. ;)

you know, it happens a lot that I see things very similar to fan fic show up in canon or RW. seems like they have to be lurkin around there lifting ideas from you all ....::))
