Jayne looked at her - shining in the light of the engine room, carefree and so very beautiful. He thought about the things they could get away with this far down the ship. If they were quiet enough it was almost limitless. Then he thought about the things they couldn't get away with and that thought disappointed him some. Either way he knew these sort of thoughts must be a sin, but he didn't care. He just knew that engine room or no, no matter what the crew had to say about it, she was going to be his someday.
