소원을 말해봐! (Holidays Wishlist Meme!)
So, I have done this wishlist meme three years ago-I think I even used the same title-and I thought I might try it again. Even if you don’t celebrate Christmas, this can be a way to do something nice for those you care about~
Step one.
➜ Make a post (public, friends-locked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
➜ If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
➜ Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step two.
➜ Surf around your friends-list (or friends' friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their lists. And now here's the important part:
➜ If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use-or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free-do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not-it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
My list.
❄ K-Pop Merchandise. Mostly EXO, Infinite, and B1A4 things. Infinite's Season 2 (that's the era where I admitted my Infinite feelings were more than casual), though ANY album, except Reality (which I already have), will be awesome. Sunggyu's solo albums, both Another Me and 27. B1A4's In the Wind, Who Am I (Jinyoung version), Solo Day, or Sweet Girl (IDGAF what version tbh). EXO's Love Me Right. Oh My Girl's Closer Mini Album. Honestly, anything related to Ryeowook, Yixing, Sungyeol, Taemin, Chanyeol, Jinyoung (B1A4), Yonghwa, Yoona, Krystal, Jin (Lovelyz) is perfect
❄ Keychains. I collect key chains from every new place I visit. If you're not from the Philippines, I'd love to get a key chain representing where you're from
❄ Fics. I rarely ask for people to write fics for me, so I guess those reading this have an idea what I like or don't like? Bonus points if you can write me an OTWOL AU.
❄ Anything related to figure skating. Ideally, I'd ask for tickets to the Four Continents Championships in Taiwan. But anything to do with my favorite skaters, or anything to help add to my figure skating knowledge will be OK
❄ Insoles. Preferrably more than two inches high. (I'm 5' 5" and insecure about my height so...)
❄ External Hard Drive
❄ Letters from you or pictures/postcards or even just decoration elements for my room :3 Just something to remind me of you ♡ Also, cute office/stationery supplies, pens/sharpies or anything that I can use daily and be reminded of you while doing so! (OK. I got this one from thunggyu)
❄ Books. Hit me with your recommendations. ^_^
❄ Skin-care things! I've got acne-prone, oily skin. Though the doctor has curbed my acne a lot, I still have scars and my face still gets oily af. So erm... yeah. I'm honestly not sure what works with what the doctor makes me use, so, anything you guys can recommend?
❄ Makeup. I could use a new eyelash curler, and I fell in love with the VDL Triple Tint Shot Bar in Triple Burgundy. I don't mind trying the other shades. Or if there are any other instant gradient lips lippies I can try, feel free to send them. Anything for the eyebrows is also OK, since I am SHIT at grooming them.
