clara2065: I can’t stop wondering about the horrible thing that
Cuddy did inside the club ??????? (…)
danaan999: Oh, I was teasing, Clara… I’m terrible like that. It’s not very bad… It’s just that it’s so out of character for Cuddy, and so in-character for House! The funny part is that she does it with House there.
MademoiselleCuddy: I can’t think about anything else than cuddy lying about who she is to get into the club. But I can’t find any ideas about House’s pants. Could you just say if there’s a link between what Cuddy did and the fact House had to put on new trousers ?
danaan999: There is certainly a link between those two… Indeed, if one were a lawyer or an insurance guy, you’d say that one was the proximate cause of the other. As usual, House is responsible for all the chaos…
clara2065: So Cuddy would have told several downright lies ??? (…)
danaan999: I didn’t say several…
MsHousefan: One question, danaan: Did House bring the pyjama trousers with him or did he get them in the club?
danaan999: Cuddy got them for him.
blueliz: (…) This may not hold any significance (and may be somewhat obvious although I don’t remember it being asked): Any connection between House’s missing trousers and the need for H & C to find alternate modes of transport? Just thinking if House’s keys are missing along with his jeans, the method wouldn’t be intentional (e.g. a bet of some sort). I was all for sex in a stall and the jeans being stolen by someone who House pissed off. But if sex and bets are off the table, I’m stumped on how this is Cuddy-initiated.
danaan999: Well, the lack of pants isn’t Cuddy-initiated. That’s all House’s doing, of course! (Can you imagine what would make Cuddy lose her pants? Don’t answer that.) But the alternate transport… now there you’re on to something. And that is definitely Cuddy’s fault. Except that if House hadn’t lost his pants as he did…
tkid51: and this is entirely NOT sexual right?!
danaan999: Right, though of course all this is initiated by House’s passion…
clara2065: House and Cuddy came by taxi for the concert ! What happened to his bike ???
danaan999: A most perspicacious question!
tkid51: AHA! ALAS! so the pants come off because old House wants to ahem…”get some” but Cuddy has something else in mind, eh? (…)
danaan999: Nope. House has no pants because he wanted so much to please Cuddy.
tkid51: (…) so Cuddy…ahem…makes him take off his pants? (…)
danaan999:It is amazing how ambiguous words are, isn’t it? Or rather, how many interpretations one can assign? No, Cuddy doesn’t make him take off his pants. Rather, he loses them in an attempt to please Cuddy.
XIII delenda est: Gardening? (JSYK, “gardening” is a euphemism for sex on this forum.)
danaan999: No gardening then… Though I’m not saying that horticulture is entirely lacking in the episode.
blueliz: I thought it went arrive on the bike, leave in a taxi, and bus around campus to continue the ‘locations of significance’ tour, kiss kiss (where presumably, they’re dropped off close to the hospital parking garage?). I must have seen the pics wrong. So it’s Cuddy’s fault that he doesn’t have the keys to his bike or did he lose his bike on top of his pants? (…)
danaan999: Well, whether he had the keys to the bike or not would be irrelevant in this context. But it’s definitely Cuddy’s fault that they don’t have it. But that has nothing to do with him losing his pants.
I suppose you could say that him losing his pants was a sacrifice to Cuddy… but not a voluntary one.
