We are in the process of securing a full-depth, 1m80cm tall rack for the flat. It may be possible to squeeze it in the laundry room behind the dryer, although Tom is more of a mind to put it next to the refrigerator, as they're about the same height and it will get better airflow that way.

sun2? Man, as far back as 1992 one of my roommates was using those as endtables rather than as actual computers. You'd almost be better off running a Mac IIfx and A/UX.

using bookcases as room dividers

We're doing that, not least because our book collection is threatening to eat our flat. It's not completely successful, not least because num_books is growing faster than we can allocate shelf space (by getting more shelves), and we're running out of place to put shelves while keeping the flat livable. Also the cats keep pushing down books. But on the whole it's pretty handy.

We're using Ivar rather than Billy, mind.
