i remember this quote from this time last year and it has made its way back around on my flip calendar:

Two things are hard on the heart - running up stairs and running down people.

a few people i know are going through hard times right now. their hearts are sad because of other people. my thoughts are with you.

i believe that we are put in families so we get to know people we otherwise wouldn't get/give the chance to know.

i also believe that there is a good reason why we would not want to know some of those people.

its sad and equally true that other peoples heartache often makes us appreciate our own relationships much more.

the weekend was long and much needed. after an evening of saturday night partying, i rested the rest of the weekend away. i need to stock up on rest since i am definitely going to have to get a 2nd job. do you know how much that sucks to me? oh well, its a short term sacrfice for a long term goal.

it was never real until i opened up the metro section this morning and saw his picture.

this day is so long, maybe i could pass the time by counting the number of times i can yawn between now and 5:00

i have had no good sleep this past week. but i am abnormal in the sense that i need to get at least 9 hours of sleep to function normally. i have been house-sitting for 4 dogs and 1 cat and they are driving me insane. they are little misbehavin’ shits. but they are so cute at the same time. i just feel so disorganized being away from home. 2 ( Read more... )
