(no subject)
This post is mostly for my own reference. Being as long as it is, it's very hard to remember all the little details of Patalliro! and it would be hard to look up every little thing each time.
ANGER
Volume 4, page 11 12 13 - Patalliro makes fun of Maraich's name, then says he was picked from a field. He ends up with a chair smashed over his head, then a flowerpot broken on it.
Volume 4, page 44 45 - Patalliro makes fun of Maraich's name again. Maraich threatens him with a knife then bluntly states he wants to strangle him.
Volume 4, page 68 69 - After Bancoran has been shot and Maraich has already tried searching for him in the ocean, he starts yelling at Patalliro for fooling around.
Volume 4, page 82 83 - Believing he's spotted Bancoran's killer, Maraich takes a shot at him but gets hit himself.
Volume 5, page 39 - After questioning Bancoran whether he still loved Bjorn, Maraich takes his anger out on Patalliro. Patalliro gets beaten and objects are thrown.
Volume 5, page 91 - Bancoran is in a simulator to train for space travel and Patalliro puts it on full speed. Maraich promptly yells and stabs him.
Volume 5, page 97 - Maraich bluntly tells Patalliro he got what he deserved when he's flattened.
LUST
Volume 2, page 59 - Maraich's first appearance! I think it's interesting here that he's the one to initiate the love-making. It seems that despite the abuse throughout his life, he's convinced himself he's in a loving relationship.
Volume 2, page 109 110 112 113 123 - Realizing he won't get Maraich to confess anything with brute force, Bancoran rapes him. I would put this under trauma if it wasn't for Bancoran's power. He's upset as he sits outside as Bancoran goes in for the Count. He seems to b attempting to resist Bancoran still at this point despite the Bancoran eyes.
I think an interesting point is that Maraich also initiates the kiss with Bancoran at the end. It would not appear that he's the type who always waits around to get what he wants.
Volume 3, page 46 - Seeing Bancoran again after testifying against the Syndicate, Maraich stares after him lustfuly.
Volume 4, page 53 54 55 - Bancoran and Maraich have some bedroom fun. Maraich is enjoying himself plenty.
JEALOUSY
Volume 5, page 37 38 - Maraich beleives Bancoran still loves Bjorn.
Volume 5, page 46 47 48 49 - Maraich follows Bancoran when he goes to meet 'Bjorn'. He yells at Patalliro for not finishing a joke, then goes after Andresen when he sees him kissing Bancoran.
Volume 5, page 75 - Fighting against a group of beautiful boys, Maraich becomes jealous and starts firing.
Volume 5, page 87 - Maraich is willing to let Bancoran use his powers for the sake of getting information.
Volume 5, page 124 125 - Patalliro brings up Bancoran being smitten with Andresen. Maraich is still suspicious of him.
TRUST
Volume 4, page 30 31 - In order to determine who is the real Maraich, Bancoran pretends he's going to shoot at them both. Maraich knows he would never really shoot at him and stays calmly in place.
CRACK
Volume 3, page 47 - Patalliro teases Maraich as he stares after Bancoran. Maraich barks at him to chase him away.
Volume 3, page 56 57 - Maraich tries to get Patalliro out of the way as he helps Bancoran capture an international terrorist. Patalliro distracts him with his horrible writing and runs off.
Volume 4, page 60 - Maraich participates in a small joke, passing the blame to the person behind him.
Volume 4, page 76 77 - Maraich listens to the narrator on the radio a little too closely.
Volume 5, page 35 36 - Maraich convinces Patalliro that he must be pregnant if he's been eating a lot and not feeling well.
Volume 5, page 43 44 - Maraich shoves Patalliro while he's showing them how he uses his pressure points, causing him to take off.
Volume 5, page 70 71 72 - Maraich teases Patalliro again, giving him something to throw up in every time he complains, then plays a guessing game with him.
Volume 5, page 101 102 - Maraich goes along with some joking. He reveals that he brushes Bancoran's hair every night.
FIGHTING SKILLS
Volume 2, page 78 79 80 81 82 - Maraich's first fighting scene. Beads VS gun, who will win? There's hair grabbing and brass knuckles! Bancoran mentions later that Maraich always carries a knife, and he seems to have that right from the start.
Noting the weapons he has: The wire, the knuckles, then the knife.
Volume 2, page 103 104 105 106 107 108 - Maraich goes after him again, although he's wounded this time. He uses a sharp feather in his cap with a poisoned tip, then pulls out a knife.
Volume 3, page 60 61 - Discovering that the terrorist hid his bomb in his camera, Maraich jumps over a crowd, grabs the camera and leaps out the window with it. It's shown Maraich and Bancoran were working together the whole time; Bancoran trusts him.
Volume 4, page 23 - After being gassed and taken hostage, Maraich convinces them to loosen up the ropes and promptly begins choking his captures with the rope. (The last three panels are of Comrade Q taking Maraich's place at MI6).
Volume 5, page 51 52 - Maraich takes a few stabs at Andresen.
Volume 5, page 83 84 - Bancoran focuses all his energy to make all of the beautiful boys faint. Maraich is nearly taken out as well.
Volume 5, page 135 142 - Maraich fights the entire group by himself while Bancoran and Patalliro talk. Somehow, afterwards, he seems to have taken them out with a small drill. What he did with that drill no one will ever know.
TRAUMA
Volume 2, page 96 97 - Maraich first gets left behind by the Count. (A notable difference in the anime is that the Count hasn't kidnapped Etrange, and he throws his wine in Maraich's face). Maraich misplaces his anger onto Bancoran.
DISOBEYING
Volume 4, page 78 79 - Maraich ties up the chief and sticks him in the storeroom when he tries to stop him from finding Bancoran's killer.
SADNESS
Volume 4, page 92 - Maraich is upset that Bancoran didn't fill him in on his top secret plan. He doesn't seem too bothered by his wound.
Volume 5, page 143 144 - Maraich looks at the stars with Bancoran and reflects over Andresen and the other's deaths
