11/30 My ridiculous pink ridiculous hat!

Today was not really cold enough for the hat. But started the day with a run. And I needed my ear/headband when I went out. It was a great run, and I need to keep myself motivated to get out early more often because then the exercise is done! Plus I got home just as it got light out so that was a great time to be out, and I even saw other ( Read more... )

This is a great story. How often have you been running? I've barely been running once a week :-( Now that it's cold out, I'll have even less motivation! Grrr. I also need to swim. I only have 21 months til the Disney triathlon!!

Yeah I haven't been doing too much better on the running. You should come do the 5K w/me Ed and Katie on Turkey Day. Bring your mom too.
Maybe we should plan on doing a short one together next year. Gotta plan around something in July; can't remember what tho...

Yeah, unfortunately my mom has stuff to do Thanksgiving morning, and also stuff to make me do, which is why I can't do a race then. I would love to do a race sometime though. I need to come up to Boston some weekend anyway, maybe you can let me know if there are any good races in the winter or spring? I could get my brother to run with us! I can do the same for NYC if you'd be interested. Do you have a site like nyrr.org that lists all the races?

I do this one for St. Patty's Day. I usually hear about races through active.com or my teammates. Don't know what your winter plans are but I be happy to come to NYC too. Still need to visit for more than just an afternoon.
I was also thinking a tri so your first won't be a long one. I know of a bunch around here. There's a Philly tri but its the week before the wedding, and there's Danskin (long running women's tri series) in NYC metro also. Just food for thought.

not currently, must take one.
Where are you going to me around Turkey Day? We're coming down to NJ. I'll probably also be down around Christmas.
Hopefully we'll bump into each other at some event, but I'd also love to see your place.
