I officially got my forms today for the new job. The "General Instructions for Preparation of the Curriculum Vitae for Harvard Medical School" are no less than 19 pages long. Really its mostly copying my original CV into that format but I'm sure it'll take me an hour or two to get it straight ( Read more... ) -

I stayed home yesterday in an attempt to play catch up with work and life.
Things that I wanted to do that did not get done:
Going for a run
Working on my paper
Doing backgrounds research on projects for my new lab
Cleaning the living room

Awhile back I was at some SCA event, and I mentioned that I hated history. Of course I got some reactions about being in the SCA and hating history weren't really compatible.

Tufts 10K
After not running for May and June and then barely being able to run in July, I was desperately trying to start running again. My coach told me sign up for the Tufts 10K. I did it last year, and there's so many walkers that even if I just walk the 6 miles it would be good for me ( Read more... )
