I hope I don't have to turn in my Nerd card for barely -at best - watching Dr. Who, Fringe, or The Big Bang Theory, and for not caring that Firefly was canceled. And for watching half-a-handful of Firefly episodes, and still not caring. I watched Serenity to see if it would help, but then Alan Tudyk was killed, so there went any potential love

Don't I watch the ones you mention not watching, but I don't watch the ones you do mention watching, either! So if you're outa the nerd club, I reckon I must be on some sorta "wanted dead or alive" list.

It was a cowardly commentary on the various Facebook people I know who have, for reasons unknown to me, been obsessing about Firefly and Dr. Who.

"Cowardly" in that I'm commenting about it here, rather than on FB.

Another friend constantly posts about the Beatles, but I suspect that I'd be shunned forever if I dared confess that I recognize their contribution to music, and that's pretty much it. Like for most bands that I grew up with, I like a handful of their songs.
