The city of my birth, Newport Beach, CA, has been hosting an annual film festival. Or maybe there's more than one per year. For somebody who allegedly likes movies as much as I do, you'd think I'd be paying more attention to this stuff.

Schwenk himself wasn't there for the showing. Or at least Mark Tygart--I seem to recall running into him at the theater when I first saw "Roger Rabbit."
Oh, and I seem to have lied to you in my last communique: the computer I use for all my comic scanning runs on Windows XP, not Windows 98... :)

XP makes sense. I don't think anything can run on 98 anymore, unless it's something that was originally created to do so. I've lost quite a few old PC games that way. RIP "The 7th Guest," "Myst," "Alien vs Predator," "Titanic: Mystery in Time," and "Sam & Max Hit the Road."
