As it turns out, things with the dog aren't as bad as I first feared. The dog had an echocardiogram and it turns out that her mitral valve is diseased, but it is minor enough (for now) that she doesn't even need to be medicated for it. I was going to email you about imissmydad but you don't have an email address listed.
There's a poster there who hasn't lost her dad yet. I understand she needs support during his final illness. She needs that big time but I wonder if this is the right community for her. My own father's final illness of Hodgkin's lymphoma was so painful that I'm having a lot of trouble healing as it is. I'm trying to let those memories fade and let the happier ones take over. Her posts bring it all back.
I haven't said anything at all to her about it. That's not my job in this community. It's your call. If you think she belongs, then OK. I'll skip reading her posts. If I'm experiencing pain from her posts, others may be too.
Thank you for a wonderful community. Until this poster, it has been a wonderful healing place.
