At last, a store around here started carrying flight suits (aka bird diapers), so I'm going to stop by and get my bird one this week. Even in the worst case scenario, this won't ruin EVERYTHING (since I'm submitting two different applications). So, don't lose any sleep worrying about what will happen to me. ;)

It was bound to happen. I just found out that the central application service made a mistake when they were processing my application. They classified an inorganic chemistry class as BIOCHEMISTRY. This is a problem because the med schools REQUIRE 2 semesters of inorganic chemistry (among other things). So now it looks like I did an extra semester ( Read more... )

Gotta say I teared up a little when I flipped to the coverage of Reagan's funeral and caught the end there where Nancy was weeping over his casket for the last time. Seems so intrusive to have every camera trained on her at a painful moment like that...but such is life and death in the information age.
